Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Golf Course Mechanic to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of all golf course equipment and machinery. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of equipment used across the golf course, including mowers, utility vehicles, and power tools. Your expertise will help keep our course running smoothly, providing an exceptional experience for our members and guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills in a dynamic outdoor environment while contributing to the overall excellence of our golf course operations. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on golf course equipment such as mowers, greens rollers, utility vehicles, and small engines Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify root causes efficiently Repair diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulic components, and mechanical systems with precision and attention to safety standards Maintain detailed service records and logs for all equipment repairs and maintenance activities Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering devices, and other specialized tools to complete repairs effectively Conduct electrical diagnostics and electrical work on various machinery to ensure optimal performance Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems while adhering to manufacturer specifications Skills Proven experience as a mechanic with dealership or service technician background preferred Strong knowledge of automotive repair, small engine maintenance, and heavy equipment troubleshooting Familiarity with schematics, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical systems repair techniques Experience working with Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery is a plus Proficiency in welding, soldering, and using power tools safely in an outdoor environment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manual handling tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about repair needs and updates Join us as a Golf Course Mechanic to bring your technical expertise into a vibrant outdoor setting where your skills directly impact the quality of our course operations.
