Duties Conduct regular inspections of pump systems to identify wear, leaks, or malfunctions Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance and troubleshoot electrical components Perform preventive maintenance tasks including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacements Assist with disassembly and reassembly of pumps for repairs or upgrades Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately in logs and reports Collaborate with team members to diagnose complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance procedures to ensure a safe work environment Qualifications Basic understanding of pump systems and mechanical principles Experience with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters is preferred Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively Strong problem-solving skills with an energetic approach to troubleshooting Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in mechanical maintenance Must know how to teardown, inspect, and reassemble centrifugal and vertical pumps Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly impact operational success!
