In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-the-spot assistance to motorists, performing mechanical repairs, and ensuring vehicles are safely back on the road. The ideal candidate will have experience with diesel mechanics and a strong focus on safety and customer service. Bilingual abilities are a plus, as well as having access to a work truck; however, arrangements can be made if needed. Duties Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls and assess vehicle issues on-site Perform mechanical repairs, including troubleshooting and fixing various vehicle problems Specialize in diesel engine repairs and maintenance when necessary Use diagnostic tools and repair equipment efficiently to restore vehicles to operational condition Ensure all safety protocols are followed during roadside repairs Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of repairs needed or performed Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and work area after each job Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used Requirements Proven experience in mechanical repair with a focus on diesel mechanics Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to perform repairs efficiently in roadside conditions Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; a work truck is preferred but arrangements can be made if not available Bilingual skills are considered an asset for better customer communication Ability to work independently in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Commitment to safety standards and customer satisfaction Join our team as a Roadside Technician and play a vital role in helping motorists get back on the road quickly and safely.
