Job Description

Schedule:
Full-Time, Rotating after hours "On Call"
Pay:
Competitive pay based on experience Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Field Mechanic to join our team in the Kenedy, Texas area. This position will support oilfield operations by maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing rental equipment, heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and other field equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically skilled, comfortable working in the field, and able to diagnose and repair equipment with minimal supervision. Requirements Diagnose, repair, and maintain rental and heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and oilfield-related equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections. Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, and other mechanical components. Respond to field service and equipment breakdowns as needed. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used. Ensure equipment is safe and ready for operation. Follow company safety procedures and oilfield safety requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area and service vehicle. Work independently while communicating effectively with operations and management. Qualifications Previous experience as a diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, field mechanic, or similar role preferred. Experience working on heavy trucks, rental equipment, or oilfield equipment is strongly preferred. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs. Ability to work outdoors and in varying field conditions. Valid driver's license Ability to respond to field service needs. Must be dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently.
