In this role, you will work alongside experienced technicians to assist with routine maintenance, equipment inspections, and general shop repairs. If you are eager to learn, hands-on, and looking to build a career in commercial fleet or heavy equipment maintenance, this is a great opportunity to gain valuable skills and grow with our team. Key Responsibilities Assist lead mechanics with daily maintenance, oil changes, tire rotations, and minor repairs. Inspect vehicles, trailers, and equipment for visible wear, fluid leaks, or safety hazards. Prep work areas, retrieve tools/parts, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Perform basic preventive maintenance (greasing chassis, checking air pressure, replacing filters/bulbs). Transport parts, tires, or vehicles locally as needed. Follow all shop safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and proper equipment handling procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications Age:
Must be 23 years of age or older (required for company insurance coverage).
Driver's License:
Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Aptitude:
Mechanically inclined with a basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
Physical Capability:
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
Work Ethic:
Punctual, detail-oriented, willing to take direction, and committed to working safely. Preferred (Bonus): Basic experience working on commercial trucks, automotive engines, or heavy equipment.
Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
