Greater Houston Sports Club | Full-Time | Salary Based on Experience + Annual Bonus Greater Houston Sports Club is seeking an experienced, dependable, and self-motivated Mechanic to join our team. This full-time position is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a diverse fleet of equipment used throughout our property. We are looking for a skilled individual who takes pride in their work, can troubleshoot problems independently, and helps keep our operation running safely and efficiently. Because this position involves working in an environment where firearms are present, candidates must be eligible to legally possess firearms under federal and state law.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on: Golf carts Side-by-sides (UTVs) Small engines and equipment Forklifts Tractors Diesel-powered equipment Bulldozers and other heavy machinery Property maintenance equipment and mechanical systems Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel system issues Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance Maintain service and repair records Coordinate and manage parts inventory as needed Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently Assist with general maintenance projects around the property

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a mechanic working on a variety of equipment and machinery Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and fuel systems Ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues independently Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to lift heavy objects and work both indoors and outdoors Valid driver's license required
