Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Heavy Equipment Lube Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing routine lubrication, maintenance, and minor repairs on a variety of heavy construction and industrial equipment. Your expertise will help ensure equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, supporting our ongoing projects and operations. Responsibilities Perform routine lubrication and fluid checks on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and construction machinery. Conduct basic inspections to identify potential issues related to hydraulics, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems. Assist with minor repairs and component replacements using hand tools and power tools to maintain optimal equipment performance. Follow OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines for maintenance procedures and safety standards. Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Support the team by performing equipment cleaning, tire service, welding, and assembly tasks as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety protocols. Requirements Prior dealership experience or hands-on work with heavy equipment servicing is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery maintenance including hydraulics, electrical diagnostics, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and suspension components. Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators or cranes is a plus. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic tools for automotive or heavy machinery repair. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting electrical systems and mechanical components. Knowledge of OEM standards for equipment maintenance and repair procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in various outdoor conditions. Certification or experience in diesel mechanics or HVAC systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
