This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment, including heavy machinery and industrial vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that our fleet operates smoothly, safely, and efficiently, contributing to the success of our operations. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair Allison transmissions and other vehicle mechanical systems using schematics, diagnostic tools, and technical manuals Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fluid changes, inspections, alignments, and adjustments on heavy equipment, trucks, and farm machinery Conduct repairs on hydraulic systems, air brakes, suspension components, shocks & struts, and electrical systems for various vehicles and equipment Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to assemble or repair parts as needed Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers for testing or moving machinery during repairs Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed for compliance and future reference Qualifications Proven dealership experience with heavy truck repair or automotive diagnostics highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge across Allision transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and vehicle electrical systems Experience with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery Proficiency in fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering for custom repairs or modifications not required but is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision during repairs Valid Drivers License
