Job Overview We are looking for an experience mechanic/service technician to join our service department which supports our water transfer operations. Our service department maintains a combination of company trucks, trailers, diesel-powered water transfer units, and large centrifugal pumps, including Cornell, Pioneer, and similar pump systems. Applicants are not expected to specialize in every type of equipment we maintain. We are interested in candidates with strong experience and areas of strength. Duties Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline trucks Engine, transmission, fuel system, brake, suspension, cooling system, and electrical repairs Diagnose and repair diesel-powered water transfer equipment Service and repair large centrifugal pump ends and related components Pump teardown and repair, including bearings, seals, shafts, and related components Maintain and repair trailers and water transfer support equipment Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services Use scan tools and other diagnostic equipment when applicable Inspect equipment and identify needed repairs Complete daily service reports and document work performed Communicate repair status, parts needs, and equipment concerns to the Service Manager Maintain a clean and safe work area Required Skills Previous professional mechanical or equipment repair experience Experience in a lease one applicable area, such as automotive/fleet, diesel, heavy equipment, industrial pumps, or water transfer equipment Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills within your area of experience Ability to perform assigned repairs independently Valid driver's license Reliable attendance and ability to work the required schedule Must be able to pass a background check, as well as a pre-employment drug screen. Preferred Skills Fleet or truck repair Diesel engine repair Ford Power Stroke and/or Ram/Cummins Electrical diagnostics and scann tools Water transfer or oilfield equipment Cornell, Pioneer, or similar centrifugal pumps Pump-end rebuilding and repair Trailer repair Welding and fabrication

Pay:

$24.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 60.0 - 84.0 per week
