Position Summary The Flex Surgical Equipment Technician I repairs a variety of flexible scopes using small precision tools, silicone and rubber materials, and light soldering, supporting Agiliti's only lab specializing in ultrasound repair.

Entry level, $18/hour What's in It for You The opportunity to make a real impact on patients' lives Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and general time-away benefits Tuition reimbursement Up to a 3% match on your 401(k) Make any day a pay day with Daily Pay What You Will Do in This Role Inspect, evaluate, and test flexible scopes and related surgical medical equipment Disassemble and reassemble equipment and instruments; repair as needed using small hand tools, silicone and rubber materials, and light soldering Document all services and testing performed, including all parts used Maintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with Visual Work Place (VWP) standards Perform additional tasks as assigned to support lab and modality operations What You Will Need for This Role High school diploma or GED 1-2 years of experience with mechanical or equipment repairs Ability to sit, stand, bend, and stoop frequently and to lift and carry up to 20 lbs Ability to use computer systems and devices to document work and access repair information Ability to use grinding wheels, soldering irons, sand blasters, Dremel-style tools, torches, microscopes, small precision hand tools, magnification tools, tweezers, micro screwdrivers, digital calipers, and test equipment requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination Ability to handle and assemble small parts with accuracy and attention to detail Flexibility in work schedule to meet department needs Mechanical aptitude and ability to repair basic equipment models while maintaining modality and department standards
