Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this vital role, you will perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and overhauls on a variety of diesel-powered equipment. Your expertise will ensure our machinery operates safely and efficiently, supporting our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, suspension systems, and electrical components using OEM schematics and diagnostic tools Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and construction machinery Fabricate parts or repairs as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, and power tools Conduct alignment checks, tire services, brake repairs, and HVAC system maintenance for various vehicles and equipment Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues Maintain detailed service records and ensure all repairs meet safety standards and OEM specifications Assist in heavy lifting operations and perform welding or fabrication tasks to support equipment assembly or repair projects Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic with dealership or heavy equipment servicing background Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery, farm equipment, industrial equipment, and vehicle maintenance Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, automotive diagnostics, hydraulic systems, and power tools usage Ability to read schematics accurately and perform complex repairs on diesel engines and transmissions Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, or similar machinery Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, tire service, brake repair, and welding procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various outdoor conditions Join our team to work on diverse machinery in a fast-paced environment where your skills make a real difference!
