As a Crane Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of cranes. Your expertise will keep our equipment running smoothly, You will work independently, keep our equipment compliant and fully documented, and keep classes running without downtime. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills in a dynamic environment dedicated to safety and excellence. Duties Carry out regular preventive maintenance on all cranes and related equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults on crane systems. Perform and record inspections to OSHA and manufacturer requirements. Maintain all logbooks, inspection records, service records and parts records. Flag safety issues, tag out unsafe equipment and report them promptly. Order parts and coordinate outside repairs when needed. Have cranes ready before each class and test day. Experience Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment such as cranes, excavators, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and construction machinery. Ability to work independently and manage your own maintenance schedule. Careful, organised record-keeping. Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred:
mobile, tower or lattice-boom crane experience; relevant certifications; welding skills.
A plus:
Spanish-speaking (bilingual English/Spanish). Physical requirements Outdoor work in Texas weather, work at height, climbing, lifting and working in tight spaces.
