Job Description

Shop Helper - Discovery Acquisition Services (DAS) Discovery Acquisition Services (DAS) is looking for a dependable and motivated Shop Helper to join our team. The Shop Helper will support day-to-day shop operations, assist mechanics and other shop personnel, maintain equipment and work areas, and help ensure tools, vehicles, and equipment are ready for field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist mechanics and shop personnel with equipment repairs and maintenance Clean, organize, and maintain the shop and work areas Assist with loading and unloading equipment, tools, parts, and materials Perform basic maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks Clean and prepare equipment for field deployment Operate company vehicles as required Pick up and deliver parts, supplies, and equipment Assist with inventory and organization of tools and parts Follow all company safety policies and procedures Perform other shop-related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid driver's license required Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn Comfortable working with hand and power tools Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving equipment and materials Welding experience preferred Previous experience in a mechanical, drilling, heavy-equipment, oilfield, or industrial shop environment is an asset Strong commitment to workplace safety Dependable with a positive work attitude

Job Type:
