Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Mechanic Assistant and play a vital role in supporting skilled mechanics to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment. Duties Assist experienced mechanics in performing routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance on various machinery or vehicles Use diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters to test electrical circuits and identify issues accurately Prepare work areas by gathering tools, parts, and equipment needed for repairs or maintenance tasks Follow safety procedures diligently to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues Support the disassembly and reassembly of mechanical components under supervision Document repair activities, parts used, and inspection results clearly and accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces to promote efficiency and safety Requirements Basic understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components; prior experience is a plus but not required Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters with guidance or training Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn technical procedures Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy parts, and perform manual tasks throughout shifts Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
