Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanic / Welder Helper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist experienced mechanics and welders in maintaining, repairing, and fabricating heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and vehicle systems. Duties Assist with the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery using hand tools and power tools Support welding operations including cutting, soldering, and fabrication of metal components according to schematics and technical specifications Help with vehicle maintenance tasks including brake repair, suspension work, tire service, and engine diagnostics for trucks and trailers Operate heavy machinery like excavators, forklifts, or cranes under supervision to move parts or equipment safely Follow detailed mechanical diagrams and schematics to aid in assembly, repairs, or modifications of equipment systems Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems including hydraulics, air brakes, transmissions, and electrical components Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols during all tasks Requirements Prior experience working in a dealership or industrial repair environment is highly preferred Basic knowledge of fabrication techniques and welding processes such as soldering and cutting metals Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, or similar machinery Mechanical knowledge related to automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, transmissions, suspension systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately Experience with hand tools, power tools, power lifts, and other maintenance equipment Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various outdoor conditions Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety compliance Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in vehicle and equipment maintenance!
