Service & Maintenance Technician Location:
Houston, TX Job Type:
Full Time Salary- $50k+ We are working with a growing organization in the recreation and outdoor construction industry that is seeking a Service & Maintenance Technician to join its team. This is a hands on opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, professional, and eager to learn . Industry specific experience is not required. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting, working with tools and equipment, solving problems, and learning new technical skills. What You'll Do Perform hands on maintenance, repairs, and service work Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify practical solutions Respond to service and repair needs Work with tools, equipment, and mechanical systems Assist with maintenance and special projects Maintain accurate documentation of work performed Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and project teams Learn company specific equipment, processes, and technical requirements Follow established safety, quality, and service standards Take ownership of assigned work and see projects through to completion What We're Looking For The most important qualities are mechanical aptitude, professionalism, dependability, and a willingness to learn. We are looking for someone who: Enjoys figuring out how things work and solving mechanical problems Is comfortable working with their hands and using tools Demonstrates strong problem solving skills Is dependable and takes pride in their work Is professional and communicates well with others Is organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities Can work independently while also collaborating with a team Is willing and able to learn new technical skills Your Background Pool or aquatic experience is helpful, but it is NOT required. We are open to candidates with hands on experience in areas such as: Mechanical maintenance Equipment repair Automotive or diesel repair Irrigation Other mechanical or technical trades The specific industry you come from is less important than your ability to learn, troubleshoot, and work with your hands.
