Forklift Mechanic Location:

Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Forklift Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have verifiable experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining both internal combustion and electric forklifts. We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated technician with strong troubleshooting skills who can work independently and efficiently. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on forklifts. Service and repair LP sit-down forklifts, specifically Caterpillar and Mitsubishi models. Diagnose and repair Crown electric reach trucks and Jungheinrich reach trucks. Perform hydraulic, electrical, engine, transmission, brake, steering, and mast repairs. Read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Complete work orders accurately and maintain service records. Ensure all equipment is repaired safely and meets operational standards. Qualifications Minimum of 6 years of verifiable forklift repair experience (preferred).
Proven experience working on:
Caterpillar LP sit-down forklifts Mitsubishi LP sit-down forklifts Crown electric reach trucks Jungheinrich reach trucks Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills. Ability to diagnose complex equipment issues with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a shop and field environment as needed. Must have your own basic mechanic's tools (preferred). Preferred Qualifications OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain). Experience with battery-powered industrial equipment. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
