YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

General Summary:

Perform corrective maintenance on company tractors. Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, including preventative maintenance, inspections, repair to air brakes, tires, warranty procedures, driveline, steering and suspension, electrical, AC refrigeration, and overhaul, with safety as the top priority

Essential Job Functions:

• Identify, diagnose and resolve tractor related issues, i.e. ELD devices, Direct TV, Inverter, tachometer, speedometer, power steering power divider, U-joint, transmission, rear end, A/C, starter, alternator, APU, etc. Ensure that tasks are performed in a safe, professional, and timely manner as to best represent Pride Transport.
• Diagnose / repair / replace faulty components, systems and parts
• Create repair order tickets and account for time
• Attendance is essential job function
• Perform other task/duties as assigned by management
• Keep work area clean

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of heavy-duty equipment, and transportation Ability to organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities Ability to pay close attention to details and ensure accuracy Customer service orientated Must be able to operate heavy equipment including forklift Must be 18 years or older due to the equipment used in this position All qualified applicants will go through pre-employment testing, including verification of employment, background check
