Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Technician and a Experienced Road Service Technician to join our team, providing expert maintenance and repair services for a wide range of construction, industrial, and heavy equipment. We are looking for one (1) Shop Technician and one (1)Field Technician who will be provided with a new service truck . Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repairs on construction machinery, industrial equipment, and farm machinery using electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and schematics knowledge. Conduct on-site service calls to troubleshoot issues with excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other heavy equipment. Utilize OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manuals and technical resources to accurately diagnose problems such as transmissions, diesel engines, air brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems. Carry out routine maintenance tasks including tire service, brake repair, welding, alignment, HVAC systems servicing, and general equipment upkeep. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly, disassembly, repairs, welding or fabrication projects. Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications while documenting service activities thoroughly. Assist in customer education by explaining repair procedures and maintenance recommendations clearly and professionally. Skills Proven dealership or heavy equipment service technician experience with a strong background in construction machinery maintenance. Extensive knowledge of fabrication techniques and welding processes for equipment repair or customization projects. Skilled in electrical diagnostics for complex electrical systems across various machinery types. Proficient in diagnostics with a focus on diesel engine repair and troubleshooting heavy-duty vehicle components such as transmissions and air brakes. Strong understanding of hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC systems, schematics reading, and heavy equipment operation. Experience working with OEM parts and components for Bobcat or similar brands; familiarity with farm machinery is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling tires or large components; excellent mechanical knowledge complemented by the use of hand tools and power tools. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
