Responsibilities Perform detailed diagnostics and repairs on tractors, farm machinery, heavy equipment, and industrial systems using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct preventive maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, tire service, and equipment inspections to maximize uptime. Repair mechanical systems such as transmissions, hydraulics, suspension components, brakes, shocks & struts, and electrical systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized machinery to execute repairs efficiently. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers safely during maintenance or repair procedures. Interpret schematics and technical diagrams for complex systems involving automotive electrical systems and hydraulics. Ensure all repairs meet safety standards including air brake systems, alignment procedures, HVAC systems, and vehicle maintenance protocols. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive background in heavy equipment mechanics or automotive repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in fabricating parts or modifications when necessary. Familiarity with excavator operation, crane maintenance, forklift servicing, and tractor-trailer systems. Ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot automotive electrical systems effectively. Experience with diesel engine repair, transmissions, suspensions, shocks & struts, HVAC systems, and tire service. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and performing equipment assembly or maintenance tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
