Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

ON ROAD
Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic to join our field service team. This position is being offered out of our upcoming Fredericksburg VA location. However, the work/service area includes
FREDERICKSBURG, NORTHERN VIRGINIA, DC, AND MARYLAND

•. The position requires 5+ years of experience and a deep understanding of heavy construction equipment (excavators, dozers, rollers, skid steers, forklifts, manlifts, scissor lifts, etc.). Experience in the rental equipment industry is strongly preferred. We are specifically in search of an individual who has extensive diagnostics skills. The candidate needs to be familiar with working with diagnostics tools (Multimeter, Cat ET/SIS, John Deere Service Advisor, Yanmar, Hino, TEXA Diagnostics, etc.) They also need to be familiar with electrical and hydraulic schematics and all other diagnostics support material. Responsibilities

Communicate and answer to Field Service Manager
Safely travel to and from multiple job sites per day
Troubleshoot, test, diagnose and repair equipment in the field as needed
Interpret test results, schematics, and technical breakdowns to lead to diagnosis
Utilize a multimeter and other diagnostics testing tools.
Document work through company portal
Provide excellent customer service and professional courtesy during on-site visits Requirements
Must have 5+ years experience as Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic
Proficiency in analyzing electrical issues and providing solutions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with all forms of heavy equipment
Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with clients
