Cranemasters is seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Shop to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical failures, performing repairs and rebuilds, and delivering routine preventive maintenance on a wide range of heavy equipment. This position also requires participation in 24/7 emergency response operations , providing critical field repairs when equipment failures occur. varies based on experience Key Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures using advanced mechanical knowledge and standard procedures Perform complex repairs, rebuilds, and modifications on heavy equipment including cranes, dozers, excavators, trucks, and diesel engines Respond to emergency service calls, including nights/weekends/holidays Accurately complete all required documentation (work orders, time sheets, inspection reports, etc.) Maintain a safe, clean work environment Follow all safety policies and support team training efforts Skills/Qualifications High school diploma/GED; technical training preferred 5+ years experience with heavy equipment repair ASE certifications and

DOT/FMCSA

Required Certifications and Licenses:

Valid Driver's License with good driving record Training and experience equivalent to two years of technical/vocational school and five years of on-hands repair and maintenance of heavy equipment Professional certifications related to maintenance and repair of heavy equipment Other certifications as may be necessary for accomplishment of assigned responsibilities.
