Full-Time About the Job•We're looking for a reliable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to help keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. If you have diesel mechanic experience, enjoy solving mechanical problems, and take pride in your work, we'd like to meet you. Experience working on heavy equipment is important. Experience with CAT equipment is a plus. What You'll Do•Every day is a little different, but your responsibilities may include: Diagnose and repair heavy equipment and diesel engines. Perform routine maintenance and inspections. Grease and service equipment to keep it job-ready. Repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical problems. Replace worn or damaged parts. Complete scheduled maintenance and preventative repairs. Keep records of repairs and maintenance completed. Respond to equipment breakdowns in the shop or at job sites when needed. Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe. Communicate with operators and supervisors about equipment needs. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Has at least 2 years of diesel mechanic experience . Has experience working on heavy equipment. Can troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems. Understands the importance of preventative maintenance. Takes pride in keeping equipment clean, greased, and ready to work. Works safely and independently. Has a valid driver's license. Physical Requirements This job requires you to: Lift up to 75 pounds. Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather. Climb on and around heavy equipment safely.
