The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and be proficient in diagnosing and fixing a variety of mechanical issues. This role involves working with both light and heavy equipment, ensuring that all vehicles and machinery are operating safely and efficiently. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including but not limited to aligning, shocks, struts, and HVAC systems. Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment. Assemble and disassemble components as needed for repairs. Operate power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Conduct tire service including installation, rotation, and balancing. Work on tractor-trailer units as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive repair or related field. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Proficient in the use of power tools and diagnostic equipment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to mechanics are a plus.
