Trailer Mechanic (L1-3) Position Profile Performs basic and intermediate level troubleshooting, diagnostics, preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy trailers and trucks while under the supervision of a more experienced mechanic. Essential Duties Operate safely and in compliance with all established HSSE policies and procedures Performs electrical troubleshooting Performs computer diagnostics Performs part diagnostics, repair and replacement Performs engine diagnostics Performs emissions troubleshooting and repair Performs brake system diagnostics and repair Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent One to two years heavy trailer, truck equipment repair and maintenance experience Technical or trade school training in the field of diesel mechanics desirable Valid driver s license Must own a basic tool kit to perform the job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Competent level performance of
