Opti Staffing is hiring for a growing mobility equipment company in Vancouver, WA. We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Service Technician to repair and maintain mobility equipment and help ensure customers have safe, reliable equipment.
What You'll Do:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain wheelchairs, power chairs, scooters, and other mobility equipment Perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting Inspect equipment to identify issues and determine necessary repairs Replace, adjust, and install components as needed Test equipment to ensure it is operating safely and properly Maintain accurate service and repair records Communicate with customers regarding equipment issues and repairs Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized Follow all company safety and service procedures What's In It for

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Comfortable using hand and power tools Ability to work independently and stay organized Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable transportation
CLEAN DRIVING RECORD REQUIRED
The Musts:
Dependable and punctual Mechanically inclined and comfortable troubleshooting equipment Able to safely lift, move, and work around mobility equipment Comfortable working directly with customers Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass any required background/driving checks
Preferred:
Previous experience repairing wheelchairs, scooters, power chairs, or mobility equipment Mechanical or electrical repair experience Experience with batteries, motors, wiring, or basic electrical systems Automotive, small-engine, appliance, HVAC, or similar repair experience Previous field service or technician experience
