If you have experience in machinery and truck mechanics, or any other mechanic related background we would like to talk to you. As a team member you may also be involved as a general farm laborer during the cranberry growing season. This includes, but is not limited to, operating machinery, driving tractors, pesticide and fertilizer applications, bed renovations and working as part of the frost protection team. Full Job Description Responsibilities may include: Diesel mechanics, heavy equipment and truck repair Heavy equipment operation Communicate with management team on all safety, maintenance, and repair needs, including proper documentation of such needs Perform general and preventive maintenance work including mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and fabrication Cranberry growing and record keeping Function as an engaged team member and contribute to the site's continuous improvement efforts Perform practical tasks such as operating machinery, driving tractors, pesticide and fertilizer applications, and bed renovations Work as part of the frost protection team, work in a rotation calendar Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications may include: Experience in diesel mechanics, farm, heavy equipment, truck, or tractor mechanics Experience operating heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, grader, or loaders Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Have or ability to obtain pesticide applicator certification General equipment operations. I.e. farm, construction, and/or warehouse equipment

Physical Requirements:

Understand and follow written and oral instructions in the English language Frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, or crouch for a normal 8-hour shift Repetitively grab, flex, and twist hands, shoulders, and upper extremities While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical/electrical parts and pressurized equipment, humid conditions, and extreme cold or heat Ability to work with little to no supervision
