Job Description

Master Fleet is hiring a Mobile Mechanic! Ready to take your mechanical skills on the road direct to customer lots? Join our team and bring top-notch repair and maintenance services directly to our customers. No Highway work| Never on call| First Shift| Big Perks As a Mobile Mechanic, you'll provide on-site repair and maintenance services for semi-trailers and tractors at customer locations. You'll be equipped with a fully stocked mobile workshop and everything you need to get the job done in the field.

Job Summary:
Have strong mechanical aptitude Diagnose and repairs problems Perform annual vehicle and safety inspections; preventative maintenance and other repairs as necessary. Comprehension and completion of the repair orders, inventory forms, PM schedules, repair forecasts. Prepare safety documents required by DOT, company and any other Federal, State or Local regulations The ability to use and reference technical manuals, service bulletins, diagrams and schematics. Periodically updates of responsibilities to reflect company and market needs
Qualifications/Competencies:
A valid drivers license is required Clean driving record Minimum of two years industry experience. Must provide own tools. Excellent decision making and problem solving skills. Experience in all aspects of trailer suspension, brakes, and overhead doors required
