Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the maintenance and repairs to Menard owned equipment. The hours are 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform mechanical repairs to all types of forklifts (electric, LP and diesel), order selectors, floor sweepers and scrubbers.
- Diagnose equipment problems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Perform accurate and timely equipment repairs including preventative maintenance.
- Look for additional repairs beyond what's listed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Have 3-5 years of direct mechanical experience or an accredited technician degree
- Provide their own tools
- Must be reliable, detail oriented, and able to multitask
- Parts knowledge
- Must be able to take direction from management
- Must be able to work independently
- Able to lift 40lbs.
