Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the maintenance and repairs to Menard owned equipment. The hours are 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform mechanical repairs to all types of forklifts (electric, LP and diesel), order selectors, floor sweepers and scrubbers.
  • Diagnose equipment problems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Perform accurate and timely equipment repairs including preventative maintenance.
  • Look for additional repairs beyond what's listed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Have 3-5 years of direct mechanical experience or an accredited technician degree
  • Provide their own tools
  • Must be reliable, detail oriented, and able to multitask
  • Parts knowledge
  • Must be able to take direction from management
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Able to lift 40lbs.
