We are seeking a skilled and dependable Outdoor Power Equipment Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and service a variety of outdoor power equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, generators, snow blowers, and other small-engine equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical abilities, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues on outdoor power equipment. Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, blade sharpening, and filter replacement. Repair and replace defective components, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Conduct equipment inspections to ensure safety and proper operation. Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation. Communicate repair findings, estimates, and recommendations to customers and service managers. Assemble and prepare new equipment for sale and delivery. Keep the shop clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Stay current on manufacturer service updates and training. Qualifications Experience repairing small engines and outdoor power equipment. Knowledge of two-cycle and four-cycle engines. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair instructions. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Valid driver's license. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a hands-on shop environment. Skills and Abilities Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
