Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mobile Fleet Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing our diverse fleet of light, medium, and heavy equipment and vehicles. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of machinery, including trucks, trailers, Rvs. ensuring their optimal performance and safety. As a key player in our maintenance operations, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine inspections to keep our fleet running smoothly across multiple locations. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on light, medium, and heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractors using schematics and automotive electrical systems knowledge Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, brake repair, suspension checks, shocks & struts replacement, and hydraulic system servicing. Roadside repairs and breakdowns. Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding and hand tools to ensure equipment longevity and safety Troubleshoot complex mechanical systems including transmissions, air brakes, HVAC systems, and diesel engines with precision Utilize power tools and welding equipment to assemble or repair machinery components in the field or shop environment Inspect vehicle systems for safety compliance, perform alignments, and ensure proper functioning of vehicle electrical systems Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety standards Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background working with heavy equipment mechanics is highly preferred Hands-on experience with heavy truck repair, automotive diagnostics, and vehicle systems maintenance is essential Skilled in reading schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical blueprints for accurate troubleshooting Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel mechanics, HVAC systems, and suspension components Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators or forklifts is advantageous Demonstrated ability to perform welding, fabrication, and assembly tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Join us to keep our fleet operating at peak performance!
