Stay Hands-On Without the Full-Time Grind Piala's Nursery & Garden Shop, Inc. is currently seeking a dependable Assistant Mechanic to help maintain and repair our fleet of landscaping equipment. This role is ideal for a retired or semi-retired mechanic—or a mechanically inclined individual—who enjoys working with engines and equipment but prefers flexible, part-time or seasonal hours. REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 18 years old Hold a current and valid Driver's License (Class A or B CDL is a plus, but not required) Ability to operate a tractor and/or skid loader to complete job duties; Must have experience operating skid loaders or be able and willing to learn Physical condition that allows you to meet the demands of daily tasks, including the ability to lift up to 40 lbs Working knowledge of routine fleet maintenance procedures Experience with small engine and gas engine repair Comfortable handling parts ordering and maintenance documentation Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus Piala's is a family owned and operated nursery, garden shop, and full service landscape design-build company located in Southeastern Wisconsin.
