Job Description

Pay:
Starting at $18.00/hour, depending on experience We are seeking a dependable Logistics Runner to support Sales and Operations. This position combines deliveries, inventory management, warehouse and shop work, and basic administrative responsibilities. The individual will interact with customers and vendors and must maintain a professional demeanor. Responsibilities Maintain inventory of fasteners, welding supplies, hydraulic hoses and fittings, utility items, sanitary supplies, and other materials Check parts orders with vendors Supply job parts to the shop floor as needed Pick up and deliver parts to customers and vendors using a company-provided vehicle Provide updates during weekly Operations meetings Communicate with customers and vendors as needed Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to load and unload trucks Work in warehouse, shop floor, and customer locations Work safely around heavy equipment and overhead cranes Use Outlook or other email for communication records Use Excel and Word to review and process parts and inventory information Use JobBoss to enter jobs and retrieve reports; training will be provided Perform other duties as needed Requirements Ability to drive a pickup with a 35-foot trailer Ability to drive a pickup or non-air-brake flatbed for deliveries Ability to perform physically demanding work Comfortable working in an industrial environment Forklift and overhead crane experience Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word Ability to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers Ability to work with a variety of personalities and adjust to changing needs Ability to obtain a WVMHST Safety Card after hire for access to mine properties Pass all pre-employmengt screening such as a Background check and Drug Screening Must have a CDL The selected candidate will complete an orientation period with current logistics staff to learn company expectations, procedures, and responsibilities.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
