Shop Technician II Full job description Maverick Energy Services Inc. is a leader in providing, maintaining, and servicing natural gas and storage wells throughout the USA. Our services range from low- and high-pressure API-6 gate valves, safety valves, casing heads, tubing heads, hangers, production tree equipment, multi bowl and latch system speed heads, and advanced casing threaders that give our team infield machining capabilities. //maverickwellhead.com Shop Technician Duties / Responsibilities The Shop Technician II is a mid-level position that will support the execution and delivery of all Maverick Energy Services specialized services, as required and based on project scopes. This position is responsible for performing a various spectrum of tasks such as: Clean, disassemble, pressure wash, reassemble, test, grease, and paint wellhead equipment Assemble and break down new or used equipment, inspect, repair, and test equipment Loading and offloading inventory on/off trucks Utilizing overhead crane Driving forklift Painting inventory Pressure washing Repair minor equipment Basic use of hand tools Maintain a safe and clean work environment Various other tasks that may be required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Primary Requirements:
Minimum of 2-5 Years of relevant Wellhead/Oil and Gas experience in a shop or field-based role Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane Ability to operate truck and trailer as necessary Willingness to take initiative and work independently and / or in a team dynamic Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on safety Strong interpersonal and communication skills Manual dexterity, motor coordination, and physical strength. Vocational, technical, or military training experience is a plus Current valid driver's license Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen upon hiring and randomly.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
