Ideal Candidate Profile:

• A self-starter who can excel with little supervision.
• Qualified to and does all repairs and maintenance work on automotive and utility work equipment including hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic driven components and equipment;
• Qualified to work safely in a shop environment and obey all OSHA regulations.
• Possess excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely in remote areas in all types of weather conditions.
• Possess a safe driving record. Responsibilities type="disc
• -Repair of all types of mobile equipment and tools, to include all light, medium and heavy duty gas and diesel engine equipment.
• Repair of hydraulic operated aerial and man lift devices.
• Performance of the SAP PM program to minimize equipment downtime and unexpected cost.
• Overseeing of vendors to ensure repairs are done to Pacificorp standards.
• Processing of billing to ensure timely vendor payment. Requirements type="disc
• -Must have a High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent.
• Must be a Journeyman Equipment Serviceman; or have 5 years verifiable automotive mechanic experience.
• Must pass a Rocky Mountain Power Journeyman Mechanic test, provided by the company.
• Must possess or able to obtain a class A CDL license within 90 days of hire.
• Must supply own hand tools common for journeyman mechanics. Preferences type="disc
• -Derrick and aerial equipment repair experience.
