You need a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, and prior appliance repair experience is a plus but not required. You train under an accomplished specialist and can be running your own calls in 7 to 8 weeks.

You take pride in doing right by people and showing up when you said you would. You love knowing how things work and you are comfortable using technology to diagnose a fault. You bring the ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and work in tight or confined spaces. You bring a dependable commute to the Birmingham or Montgomery area and a willingness to complete a background check and drug screen.

What You Will Do Each Day:

Visit customers in their homes to diagnose appliance problems. Repair household appliances on site. Explain what went wrong and what the fix involves. Serve as the Appliance Service Technician customers meet at their door. Call technical support when a repair gets complicated, even working solo.
