This non-driving role is vital in supporting our field service team by handling the physical aspects of appliance setup, ensuring smooth and efficient installations for our customers. The ideal candidate will be energetic, eager to learn, and committed to providing excellent customer service while working safely and effectively with various tools and equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop technical skills in appliance repair, electrical work, plumbing, and mechanical systems within a dynamic environment. Duties Assist delivery drivers with loading, unloading, and transporting appliances using appropriate equipment such as hand tools, power tools, and box trucks Support the installation of appliances by following schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and plumbing instructions Use ladder equipment safely to access installation sites at customer locations Troubleshoot basic appliance issues, including mechanical or electrical problems, to ensure proper functioning during installation Perform minor repairs or adjustments on appliances using hand tools and equipment repair techniques Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after installations to ensure safety and efficiency Communicate professionally with customers to coordinate delivery times, answer basic questions, and ensure a positive service experience Requirements Previous experience in customer service is preferred. Appliance installation experience is a plus, but willing to train. Must have your own tools such as drill, drill batteries, drill bits etc. Attention to detail is a must. Ability to operate a box truck and navigate various routes effectively. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving items throughout the day. Must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
