is looking for a driven individual to join our team as a Microwave Tower Technician. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects and play a crucial role in ensuring safety and successful project execution. You will work closely with the Foreman to meet schedule deadlines, while also verifying the accuracy and completion of each project. Safety will always be at the forefront of your responsibilities as you adhere to proper procedures, complete daily JSA/Tailgate meetings, and perform such tasks as climbing 100' or more. Experience in Microwave antenna installation, pathing, waveguide, reading PCN and MW construction drawings is preferred. The tower tech will install, decom, troubleshoot and repair Microwave networks including coax, hybrid, waveguide, antennas, connectors, grounding, and supporting hardware. The position requires the ability to work days/nights/weekends depending on project demands. Responsibilities Complete work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with Industry Standards. Transport and install of wireless industry equipment to include various cable types, antennas, radios, mounting hardware and other components. Utilize industry equipment such as safety equipment, man-lifts, bucket trucks, hand and power tools to complete installation work. Fabricate when needed and install hardware as required to complete installation Completion of projects within defined timeframes by Foreman and CM PIM testing, line sweeps and ODU testing knowledge are highly preferable. Proper inspection and use of personal safety equipment. Work safely on towers incorporating 100% tie-off fall protection practices. Ensure that all company equipment is well maintained and in safe operating condition Perform rigging and climbing tasks to install and maintain telecommunication equipment at various heights. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions for Microwave installations. Adhere to safety protocols while working in elevated environments. Other duties as required.
