Role Description The Appliance Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. This role involves diagnosing issues with household appliances, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance on equipment such as refrigerators, ovens, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and similar units. Day-to-day tasks include traveling to customer locations, inspecting appliances, identifying faulty components, and using appropriate tools and replacement parts to restore proper function. The technician documents work performed, provides clear explanations of service recommendations, and ensures that safety standards and company procedures are followed. The role also requires maintaining a clean work environment, managing parts inventory, and delivering professional, respectful customer service during each visit. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience working with electrical and mechanical systems in household appliances. Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and testing equipment to troubleshoot and repair common appliance issues. Knowledge of basic electrical safety, wiring, and components, with the ability to read and interpret manuals or technical diagrams. Effective communication and customer service skills, including the ability to explain technical information in clear, simple terms. Good time management and organizational skills to handle multiple service calls and maintain accurate service records. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. Physical ability to lift and move appliances safely and to work in various residential or commercial settings.
