Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Premium Appliance Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for diagnosing, repairing, and installing a wide range of high-end household appliances. We service refrigerators, ovens and wine coolers across Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, Viking, Aga and Dacor. We are currently looking for Thermador experts in bay area. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive top-tier service, restoring their appliances to optimal performance with precision and care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your technical prowess while delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced environment. If you thrive on solving complex mechanical and electrical challenges and enjoy working independently, this role is perfect for you! Responsibilities Diagnostics and fault detection : the technician must be able to inspect and test appliances to identify the cause of failure. Repair and replacement of parts and components: following diagnosis, the technician must be able to perform repairs or replace defective parts and components .
Maintenance and preventive care:
the technician is also responsible for performing routine maintenance and preventive procedures to avoid potential failures. This may include cleaning, lubrication, inspection of electrical connections, parameter adjustment, and other procedures that extend the appliance's service life.
Client consulting:
the technician must be prepared to provide clients with guidance and advice on appliance use and maintenance to prevent recurring issues . Adherence to safety standards and technical regulations during all repair operations.
Updating knowledge and skills:
technology is constantly evolving and new appliance models are regularly introduced. The technician must be willing to learn about new technologies to stay current with the latest trends and technical solutions. Qualifications minimum 6 months of work experience conversational English proficiency valid driver's license and own vehicle possession of work authorization and general liability skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting appliance malfunctions ability to work with technical documentation and diagnostic codes proficiency with role-specific tools and equipment strong interpersonal skills and effective client communication sealed system replacement and soldering skills — the highest-margin work, requiring professional expertise.
