This role assists technicians with appliance inspections, troubleshooting, repair preparation, parts handling, equipment organization, and customer service. Responsibilities Assist technicians with inspecting household appliances and identifying service needs. Help prepare tools, equipment, replacement parts, and supplies for service appointments. Support routine troubleshooting and repair activities under appropriate supervision. Assist with installing, replacing, and adjusting appliance components as directed. Help test appliances after repairs or maintenance to confirm proper operation. Load, organize, transport, and maintain tools and service equipment. Keep work areas, service vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Assist with documenting service work, repairs completed, and parts used. Communicate professionally with customers during service visits. Help explain routine service information as directed by the technician. Monitor commonly used supplies and report inventory needs. Follow company procedures, technical instructions, and workplace safety guidelines. Report damaged parts, equipment concerns, or unexpected service issues to the appropriate team member. Support technicians in completing service calls efficiently and professionally. Perform other appliance repair and service support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in appliance repair, maintenance, installation, construction, or hands-on technical work is preferred but not required. Basic mechanical or technical knowledge is helpful. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Comfortable working with hand tools and service equipment. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable, punctual, and responsible work habits. Ability to work independently when appropriate and as part of a team.
