The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing professional service while completing repair and maintenance tasks safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot common appliance problems and service issues. Inspect appliances to identify mechanical, electrical, and operational concerns. Perform appliance repairs, maintenance, adjustments, and component replacements. Test appliances after repairs to ensure proper operation. Use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and service tools safely and appropriately. Identify damaged or worn parts and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements. Install and replace appliance components according to established procedures. Explain repair findings and service recommendations to customers in a clear and professional manner. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, parts used, and work completed. Keep tools, equipment, and service areas clean, organized, and properly maintained. Manage parts and supplies needed for assigned service appointments. Follow manufacturer guidelines, company procedures, and workplace safety standards. Communicate service updates and scheduling information with customers and team members. Complete assigned service calls efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Perform other appliance repair and service duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous appliance repair, maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or technical experience preferred. Basic understanding of household appliances and mechanical systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to use common hand tools and service equipment safely.
