Responsibilities Assist with inspecting household appliances to identify service and performance issues. Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and operational problems. Assist with routine maintenance, repairs, adjustments, and component replacements. Prepare tools, equipment, replacement parts, and supplies for service assignments. Safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic appliance service equipment. Assist with testing appliances after service to confirm proper operation. Identify worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components and report issues promptly. Assist service technicians with assigned repair and maintenance tasks. Help install, replace, and adjust appliance components as directed. Provide courteous and professional customer service during service appointments. Explain basic service information and relay customer concerns to the appropriate team member. Maintain accurate records of service calls, inspections, parts used, and completed work. Keep tools, equipment, and service areas clean, organized, and ready for use. Monitor parts and supplies and communicate inventory needs when necessary. Follow company procedures, manufacturer recommendations, and workplace safety standards. Complete assigned service duties efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship. Qualifications Previous experience in appliance service, maintenance, repair, mechanical, electrical, or technical work is preferred. Basic understanding of household appliances and mechanical systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working with common hand tools and service equipment.
