The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable assisting with troubleshooting, tools and parts handling, service preparation, and customer support. Responsibilities Assist with inspecting household appliances to identify service and maintenance needs. Support technicians with routine appliance repair and maintenance tasks. Help troubleshoot common appliance issues and communicate findings to the service team. Prepare tools, equipment, replacement parts, and supplies for service appointments. Assist with removing, replacing, and adjusting appliance components as directed. Help test appliances after service to confirm proper operation. Handle tools, equipment, and appliance parts safely and responsibly. Keep tools, service areas, and workspaces clean and organized. Assist with loading, transporting, and organizing tools and replacement parts. Communicate professionally with customers during service visits. Help maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used. Monitor commonly used supplies and report inventory needs. Report damaged equipment, unusual appliance conditions, or safety concerns promptly. Follow company procedures, service guidelines, and workplace safety standards. Support technicians in completing service appointments efficiently and professionally. Perform other appliance service and repair duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in appliance repair, maintenance, construction, or technical service is preferred but not required. Basic mechanical or technical knowledge is helpful. Comfortable working with hand tools and service equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable, punctual, and responsible work habits.
