This role assists with appliance inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair preparation, parts handling, and customer service while helping ensure efficient and professional service. Responsibilities Assist with inspecting household appliances to identify service and maintenance needs. Support technicians with routine appliance repair and maintenance tasks. Help troubleshoot common appliance issues under appropriate supervision. Prepare tools, equipment, replacement parts, and supplies for service appointments. Assist with installing, replacing, and adjusting appliance components as directed. Help test appliances after repairs to confirm proper operation. Handle tools, equipment, and appliance parts safely and responsibly. Keep service areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Assist with loading, transporting, and organizing tools and replacement parts. Communicate professionally with customers during service visits. Assist with maintaining accurate service records and documentation. Monitor commonly used supplies and report inventory needs. Report damaged parts, equipment concerns, or unexpected service issues. Follow company procedures, repair guidelines, and workplace safety standards. Perform other appliance service and support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous appliance repair, maintenance, installation, construction, or technical service experience preferred but not required. Basic mechanical or technical knowledge is helpful. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Comfortable using hand tools and service equipment. Good communication and customer service abilities. Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable, punctual, and responsible work habits. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable performing hands-on duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and moving equipment as needed.
