This role involves assisting with troubleshooting, preparing tools and parts, supporting service tasks, and helping ensure customers receive professional and efficient service. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment. Responsibilities Assist with inspecting household appliances to identify service and repair needs. Support technicians with routine appliance repair and maintenance tasks. Help troubleshoot common appliance problems under appropriate supervision. Prepare tools, equipment, replacement parts, and supplies for service calls. Assist with removing, replacing, and adjusting appliance components as directed. Help test appliances after repairs or maintenance to verify proper operation. Handle tools, equipment, and appliance parts safely and responsibly. Keep service areas, tools, and workspaces clean and organized. Assist with loading, transporting, and organizing tools and replacement parts. Communicate professionally with customers during service visits. Help maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used. Monitor commonly used supplies and report inventory needs to the appropriate team member. Report damaged equipment, unusual appliance conditions, or safety concerns promptly. Follow company procedures, service guidelines, and workplace safety standards. Support technicians in completing service appointments efficiently and professionally. Perform other appliance service and repair support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in appliance repair, maintenance, construction, or technical service is preferred but not required. Basic mechanical or technical knowledge is helpful. Comfortable working with hand tools and service equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and customer service abilities. Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable, punctual, and responsible work habits. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable performing hands-on duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and moving equipment as needed.
