This role assists with appliance inspections, basic troubleshooting, repair preparation, parts handling, customer communication, and maintaining an organized service environment. Responsibilities Assist with inspecting household appliances to identify service and repair needs. Support technicians with routine appliance service and repair tasks. Help troubleshoot common appliance issues under appropriate supervision. Prepare tools, equipment, replacement parts, and supplies for service appointments. Assist with installing, replacing, and adjusting appliance components as directed. Help test appliances after repairs or maintenance to confirm proper operation. Handle tools, equipment, and appliance parts safely and responsibly. Keep service areas, tools, equipment, and workspaces clean and organized. Assist with loading, transporting, and organizing tools and replacement parts. Communicate professionally with customers during service visits. Help maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used. Monitor commonly used supplies and report inventory needs to the appropriate team member. Report damaged parts, equipment concerns, or unexpected service issues promptly. Follow company procedures, service guidelines, and workplace safety standards. Support technicians in completing service calls efficiently and professionally. Perform other appliance service and support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous appliance repair, maintenance, installation, construction, or technical service experience preferred but not required. Basic mechanical or technical knowledge is helpful. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working with hand tools and service equipment. Good communication and customer service abilities. Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable, punctual, and responsible work habits. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable performing hands-on duties, including standing, walking, lifting, and moving equipment as needed.
