About the Role As a Field Service Appliance Technician, you will serve as a vital resource for homeowners by diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues. You will leverage your technical expertise in refrigeration and sealed systems to restore essential household functionality, ensuring every customer receives high-quality, reliable service. Responsibilities Perform expert-level diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of major home appliances. Execute complex repairs on refrigeration and sealed systems to restore optimal performance. Provide exceptional customer service by clearly explaining technical issues and repair outcomes to homeowners. Utilize mobile technology and digital diagnostic tools to manage service tickets and access technical documentation efficiently. Maintain a high standard of workmanship to ensure long-term equipment reliability and customer satisfaction. Manage a daily service route, ensuring timely arrival and professional conduct at every client location. Qualifications Required Skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Active EPA 608 Type I certification. Proven experience in appliance repair and refrigeration systems. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently in a field-based environment. Preferred Skills Experience with HVAC or related electromechanical systems. Strong background in customer-facing service roles. Familiarity with modern digital diagnostic apps and mobile reporting tools. Commitment to ongoing technical training and professional development.
