The technician will work directly with customers, identify equipment issues, complete repairs efficiently, and help ensure appliances operate safely and reliably. Responsibilities Diagnose appliance problems using appropriate testing and troubleshooting methods. Repair and service household appliances according to manufacturer and company standards. Inspect appliances to identify mechanical, electrical, and operational issues. Replace defective parts and components as needed. Perform routine maintenance and preventive service. Explain appliance issues and recommended repairs clearly to customers. Provide professional and courteous customer service at every service appointment. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts, and service work. Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and properly. Follow safety procedures and applicable service standards. Keep tools, equipment, and service areas clean and organized. Manage service calls efficiently and communicate updates when needed. Maintain awareness of parts, supplies, and equipment required for assigned jobs. Perform other repair and service duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous appliance repair, maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical experience is preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
