Duties Support lead installers by preparing work areas, unloading appliances, and organizing tools and equipment for installation projects Assist with the assembly, setup, and installation of various appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers according to schematics and technical specifications Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other equipment safely to facilitate installations and repairs Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues with appliances using electrical experience, plumbing knowledge, or refrigeration skills as needed Follow safety protocols including electrical work standards and proper equipment handling to ensure a secure work environment Help with delivery logistics by operating company vehicles responsibly and ensuring timely arrival at customer sites Provide excellent customer service by maintaining professionalism during installations and addressing customer questions or concerns with clarity Experience Prior experience with appliance repair, installation, or field service is highly desirable Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring, plumbing systems, refrigeration components, and mechanical systems is preferred Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and equipment troubleshooting techniques Knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices related to appliances or similar machinery Experience operating company vehicles or delivery drivers' roles adds value Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience enhances your effectiveness in this role Previous work involving assembly tasks or equipment repair demonstrates your ability to adapt quickly in a technical environment Embark on a rewarding career helping customers enjoy their appliances while honing your technical skills!
